Three Israeli cos among CNBC's most creative in Europe - only the UK and the Netherlands have more companies on CNBC's list.

Three Israeli companies have made it onto CNBC's recently unveiled list of Europe's 25 most creative companies. The companies were selected for "the disruptive force of their ideas."

The three companies in question are Nano Retina of Herzliya Pituah, founded by Yossi Gross and Jim R. Von Ehr, which is developing an artificial retina designed to restore sight to the blind; 3D printing technology company Objet Geometries of Rehovot; and Neve Ilan-based BriefCam, founded by Prof. Shmuel Peleg, Gideon Ben-Zvi, Dr. Yaron Caspi, and Yael Pritch, whose Video Synopsis system summarizes videos, enhancing the usefulness of surveillance cameras by making it possible to view events that took place over a long period in a much shorter time.

Only the UK (4.5 - one company is described as UK-Swedish) and the Netherlands (5) have more companies on CNBC's list than Israel.
