Communiqué de l'ONU concernant Ján Kubiš: "Coordonnateur spécial des Nations Unies pour le Liban (UNSCOL). Le Secrétaire général de l’ONU a annoncé aujourd’hui le 9 janvier 2019 la nomination de M. Ján Kubiš, de la Slovaquie, comme Coordonnateur spécial pour le Liban." M. Kubis est socialiste et a été ministre des Affaires étrangères de 2006 à 2009.
Jan Kubis a rencontré Naim Qassem, le numéro 2 du Hezbollah. Voici le commentaire (Twitter) que la réunion lui a inspiré:
