Contorsionisme: le "modérément probable" empoisonnement d'Arafat

L'excitation et la jubilation sont à leur comble dans les médias et certains cercles européens. Adulé par les élites européennes, celles-ci veulent savoir - à l'instar des Palestiniens et des Arabes - si le vieux Yasser Arafat a été empoisonné. Et les contorsions verbales foisonnent. Dans le quotidien portugais Público, Ana Gomes Ferreira et Isabel Barata signent un article intitulé "Il est "modérément probable" qu'Arafat a été empoisonné au polonium".

"Il est modérément probable qu'Arafat a été empoisonné au polonium". En termes clairs ça veut dire qu'on n'a pas la moindre idée sur le sujet. Mais il est nécessaire de procéder à ces enquêtes dans le but d'entretenir la flamme de la méfiance envers Israël.  La seule chose sur laquelle ces indignés n'enquêtent pas est la trace des millions volés soustraits par la famille Arafat au peuple qu'il prétendait représenter, ou encore s'il n'est pas modérément probable qu'il ait été empoisonné par la paire Iran/Hamas. 

Albawaba: Tzipi Livni aurait couché avec Saeb Erekat et Yasser Abed Rabbo!

Des esprits fertiles, des imaginations débordantes et des complots à gogo.  Israelly Cool rapporte les révélations du journal Albawaba (Albawaba Claims Tzipi Livni Slept With Saeb Erekat And Yasser Abed Rabbo).  Selon ce journal le monde arabe est très friand de ces rumeurs de coucheries qui auraient, selon le journal libanais Al Diyyar, reçu l'approbation du grand rabbin d'Israël - la seule condition posée étant que les coucheries servent les intérêts d'Israël.

"As US Secretary of State, John Kerry, slogs around the Middle East trying to revive the peace talks between Palestine and Israel, someone should have told him that the real negotations are going on in Tzipi Livni’s bedroom!

In a scandal bound to rock the bedposts of the Palestinian negotiating team, chief Israeli negotiator and Justice Minister Tzipi Livni admitted this week that she has had sex with Saeb Erekat — her Palestinian counterpart — and PLO official Yasser Abed Rabbo. Livni’s sexual misdemeanours have been the fodder of the political Arab rumour mill for years, but until now, what the foxy Israeli politician got up to behind closed doors was all guess work.

L'action d'un étudiant d'Oxford contre le boycott d'Israël fait le buzz sur le Net

Ed Leon Klinger, un étudiant d'Oxford, a remarqué, dans la librairie de l'université, un ordinateur Apple sur lequel on avait collé deux stickers prônant le boycott d'Israël.  Ne supportant pas l'hypocrisie du propriétaire de l'appareil il lui a glissé cette note:

"Hi there!  Just thought you should know, the flash-storage inside this computer was designed and built by Anobit, an Israeli technology company! If you don't want it any more, pse pass it to the desk behind you!"

Inutile de dire le gars n'a pas rendu son ordinateur.  Donc son boycott c'est de la pure frime assortie de cynisme et d'hypocrisie. Simple mais efficace. Israël est une puissance technologique dans tous les domaines.  Il est impossible de boycotter Israël. On rappellera, qu'en Europe, le seul pays qui fait l'objet d'une telle haine est Israël.

Un documentaire diffusé par la télévision allemande sort des sentiers battus.  Il est d'autant plus remarquable qu'il a été réalisé par Ahmad Mansour, un Israélien arabe qui vit en Allemagne et qui est très impliqué dans la lutte contre l'antisémitisme.  On ne cesse de nous expliquer que l'antisémitisme est le fait de l'extrême droite, de l'extrême gauche et des islamistes.  Or tout prouve que "la haine d'Israël - la forme moderne de l'antisémitisme - fédère de nombreuses et diverses sections de la société allemande, y compris les islamistes, les Allemands en général, les Allemands de gauche, et des extrémistes de droite. Les documentaires précédents se focalisaient sur l'antisémitisme de l'extrême droite."  A ceci on pourrait ajouter le rôle des alterjuifs qui cherchent par tous les moyens à briller, être médiatisés et à faire parler d'eux.  Ce sont eux qu'on entend et que l'on voit et admire sur les plateaux de télévision en Europe.  Ils font partie d'un véritable circuit très bien organisé qui accuse Israël de nombreux crimes.   Or les Européens ne font pas la distinction entre Juifs et Israéliens.  Face à ces groupes "progressistes" très bien organisés et financés (par exemple le Belge francophone JCALL) les autres voix ne se font pas entendre.

Benjamin Weinthal @ JPost: The German public television station ARD broadcasted last week a documentary film about modern anti-Semitism at the heart of German society.  Close observers of contemporary anti-Semitism showered praise on the film for not shying away from showing anti-Semitism in all walks of life in Germany.

The 50 minute film – titled Anti-Semitism Today: How hostile is Germany toward Jews? – was created by Ahmad Mansour, an Israeli Arab, and two other Germans, Kirsten Esch and Jo Goll. Mansour is a policy advisor to the Brussels-based European Foundation for Democracy. He has lived in Berlin since 2004 and studied Psychology, Sociology and Anthropology at Tel-Aviv University.

Writing in the main weekly German Jewish newspaper Jüdische Allgemeine, Michael Wuliger, said in his commentary titled “Focus on Reality” that the film clearly showed “examples of anti-Semitism from educated, well-meaning German citizens” who wave the moral finger at Jews.

Appearing in the film is Dr. Monika Schwarz-Friesel, a linguistics professor at the Technical University in Berlin, who investigated a combination of 14,000 letters and emails sent to the Israeli embassy and Jewish organizations. She said the majority of the anti-Semitic letters and emails came from “so-called mainstream society.” One letter from a man with a doctorate states, “Why are always again the Jews persecuted? You need to ask yourself that.”  He added, “By the next Holocaust the whining begins to start again. I am fed up with it.”

La chancelière allemande exprime l'impuissance à éradiquer l'antisémitisme. Il faut se contenter de beaux discours.

Tribune Juive: Angela Merkel a appelé ses concitoyens à ne tolérer aucune forme d’antisémitisme, au moment où l’Allemagne s’apprête à commémorer le week-end prochain la «Nuit de Cristal», un pogrom perpétré il y a 75 ans.

Qualifiant le 9 novembre 1938 "d’un des moments les plus sombres de l’histoire allemande qui a, hélas, continué de façon encore plus dramatique avec la Shoah", Mme Merkel a incité "tous les gens de ce pays à faire preuve de courage civique afin que ne soit tolérée aucune forme d’antisémitisme", dans son podcast hebdomadaire.

C’est "une situation presque inexplicable, mais c’est pourtant la réalité: il n’est pas possible de laisser une crèche, une école ou une institution juive sans surveillance policière" en Allemagne, a constaté la chancelière.  Lire l'article complet ICI.

[...] Today Jews are migrating out of France, and this is occurring in increasingly larger numbers.  This migration starts within France, as a mere change of locations. In Greater Paris, middle-class Jewish families are deserting neighborhoods that have been engulfed by more recent immigrants from Africa and the Near East. These new immigrant populations have proven prone to violence, and as radical Muslims, many entertain negative views about Jews and Judaism. Harassment, arson, and assault are frequent. There have been several murders. Even the liberal-minded Imam Hassan Chalghoumi of Drancy, who advocates friendly relations with Christians and Jews, was threatened and assaulted.

“I did not leave Morocco for France to be confronted by Morocco again in France,” a Casablanca-born Jewish physician confided to me. He is selling his apartment in an increasingly Muslim-populated area of southeastern Paris to move to the local “Promised Land,” the West End of Paris. This area consists of the 16th and 17th districts, as well as the adjacent boroughs of Levallois, Puteaux, Neuilly, and Boulogne. These places are more expensive. But they are still solidly white and Christian, and thus, under the present conditions, deemed to be safer.  However, everybody cannot afford to move West, especially Orthodox Jewish families with many children. And even those who settled for other safer areas are not sure about the future. They wonder whether classic anti-Semitism is not back with a vengeance all over Europe, after several decades of post-Holocaust toleration. The fact that campaigns to make kosher slaughter and even circumcision illegal are gaining ground in several countries, and were even endorsed at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, is seen as particularly ominous.

So French Jews are looking beyond the West End. Registration with the Jewish Agency for emigration to Israel is soaring. Students are enrolling in Israeli or American universities. Families are buying apartments in Israel, or houses in Florida. Young professionals are looking for opportunities in the Israeli Silicon Valley, in London, even in Shanghai.

Un antisioniste radical invité par le musée juif de Berlin à une conférence sur l'antisémitisme

Faute de pouvoir éradiquer l'antisémitisme en Europe, les organisations juives européennes organisent régulièrement des conférences sur l'antisémitisme qui, disons-le franchement, ne servent pas à grand chose.  Non seulement elles se révèlent inutiles, mais de surcroît il arrive que de plus en plus souvent l'on invite des Juifs anti-israéliens qui minimisent la gravité de la situation en Europe et délégitiment Israël. C'est le cas d'une grande conférence internationale sur l'antisémitisme, organisée par le Musée Juif de Berlin, le Centre pour la recherche sur l'antisémitisme (ZfA) à l'Université Technique de Berlin et la Fondation Mémoire, responsabilité et avenir ( (EVZ) qui aura lieu à Berlin les 8 et 9 novembre.  L'invité d'honneur ("keynote speaker") est le professeur Brian Klug, connu pour ses positions controversées.  Mais il n'est pas le seul: "There are several troubling speakers invited to that event, known for distorting and downplaying contemporary antisemit-ism, including historian David Feldman from the Pears Institute in London, known for its kosher stamps for post- and anti-Zionism, and several German scholars like retired sociologist Detlef Claussen who endorsed the historian Tony Judt and his anti-Israel ideology".  Le Musée juif de Berlin s'était distingué il y a un an: Le Musée Juif de Berlin ou plutôt le 'Musée Anti-Juif de Berlin'? 

Le Dr. Clemens Heni, directeur du Centre International de Berlin pour l'Etude de l'Antisémitisme (BICSA), www.bicsa.org , a recueilli les réactions de plusieurs intellectuels opposés à la participation de Brian Klug à cette conférence, alors qu'aucun intellectuel israélien ou américain (deux pays où vivent la majorité des Juifs et où sont menées les recherches les plus avancées sur l'antisémitisme, notamment en Europe) n'a été invité: "It is particularly interesting that there is not one Israeli and/or American among the participants. This is interesting not only because Israel and the USA are, after all, the major centers of research on anti-semitism - in Europe and elsewhere - but also, and in particular, because the two main, by far the most important, Jewish communities are the Israeli and American communities", souligne le professeur Elhanan Yakira. Clemens Heni: Brian Klug is among the worst choices for a keynote speaker at an event dedicated to the question "What do we mean when we say "antisemitism"?" This is the title of the keynote lecture Klug is supposed to deliver in Berlin on November 8, 2013. He denies that there is a new antisemitism and he affirms anti-Israel positions. He rejects Israel‘s right to exist and collaborates with German anti-Israel agitators and activists (like participants on the Mavi Marmara). For Klug, antisemitism does not exist in our main-stream world. For him, antisemitism only exists in marginal neo-Nazi groups or among people who promote obvious antisemitic conspiracy myths. Brian Klug is particularly eager to use his "Jewishness" to fight the Jewish state of Israel. No surprise, then, that he has many allies in Germany, on ships, in the ivory tower of academia, on the streets, in journals, among activists in foundations, and even at the so-called Jewish museum in Berlin."
