L'hypocrisie des médias européens irresponsables qui maintenant défendent les Juifs

The very same media that for decades has jabbed its finger at Israel, demonising the Jewish state, is now rushing to the barriers as the defenders of Jews against antisemitism.

BBC correspondent Tim Willcox glibly told the daughter of a French Holocaust survivor: "Palestinians suffer hugely at Jewish hands as well". He subsequently apologised. But in that one remark he exposed the prejudice that has given enemies of Judaism their casus belli.

What I find troubling is that the same media outlets, that have reinforced perception of Israel as a pariah state crushing Palestinians, are now laudably publishing articles decrying the rise of antisemitism in Britain and anti-Jewish violence and death in France. What they singularly fail to do is join up the dots and recognise they have contributed to abuse and violence against Jews as anti-Zionism has transmogrified into antisemitic acts. 

During Protective Edge, Israel, in a nod to openness, allowed media into the Gaza war zone. The result was nightly images of death and destruction - which could only serve to demonise Israel. Terrible things happened, including the accidental killings of four boys on a Gaza beach. But what the world saw largely were controlled images or stories reported under intimidating supervision of Hamas minders.

The consequence of this largely one-sided, disturbing narrative (millions of Israelis sheltering from Hamas rockets were invisible) was to reinforce the story-line of Israel as brutalist, waging war against a defenceless Muslim population, inflaming liberal and extremist opinion in Britain and Europe.  The heavy presence of foreign correspondents in Jerusalem serves to magnify events. Of course the IDF makes mistakes in the fog of war. But relentless negative reporting especially by the BBC, Guardian (with the exception of Jonathan Freedland) and Independent, supported by hostile columnists, have contributed to antisemitism.

It is not the old tropes of "Jews chasing money" that led to the tragic violence in Paris. [...] It was deeply biased reporting from the Middle East that turned Palestinians into permanent victims and Jews into oppressors.

The truth, however, emerged in the well-publicised incident when BBC correspondent Tim Willcox glibly told the daughter of a French Holocaust survivor: "Palestinians suffer hugely at Jewish hands as well". Le Prof. Johan Galtung se base sur un pamphlet antisémite de William Pierce

Didier Imber – JSSNews:  "Dans un article publié lundi dans le magazine norvégien Humanist, le professeur Johan Galtung, fondateur de la discipline universitaire de "paix et des conflits" et lauréat du Prix Nobel Alternatif [il est seul Norvégien du fumeux Tribunal Russell sur la Palestine créé de toutes pièces par le belge Pierre Galand auquel participe l'indigné Stéphane Hessel], s’en est pris violemment aux "Juifs qui contrôlent les médias de masse".

Citant un article de Pak Presse Alerte republié sur un blog, en se concentrant sur les questions islamiques, Galtung affirme que "six sociétés juives possèdent 96% des médias du monde entier" et que "les directeurs des trois plus grands conglomérats de médias, Walt Disney, Time Warner et Viacom , sont des Juifs, comme l’étaient les trois plus grandes chaînes de télévision ABC, CBS et NBC avant leur entrée dans les conglomérats".  Galtung continue en citant une longue liste de journaux américains, maisons d’édition et sociétés de production de cinéma, dont il affirme qu’ils sont de propriété juive. [...]"

Or selon Didrik Søderlind le rédacteur de Humanist qui a publié le texte du professeur [!] indigné (comme on aime les appeler en France) s'est inspiré tout simplement d'un texte nazi trouvé... sur Internet - bravo pour la qualité de la recherche de ce grand intellectuel et savant pacifiste.  Søderlind  donne certaines précisions:

Ce n'est pas un hasard si les propos de Johan Galtung sur le contrôle des médias de masse par les Juifs évoquent des associations putrides.  Il révèle lui-même sa source.  Il s'agit d'un article qu'il a trouvé sur Internet Six entreprises juives contrôlent 96% des médias du monde. L'article est la version abrégée d'un pamphlet anti-juif Qui contrôle l'Amérique? [1] qui se trouve également sur le site juste après le premier.

Qui contrôle l'Amérique? a été publié par National Vanguard, la branche éditoriale de National Alliance. National Alliance était présidé par William Pierce [photo] et est considéré comme le groupe nazi américain le plus important, le mieux organisé et le plus dangereux. William Pierce est vraisemblablement l'auteur de Qui contrôle l'Amérique? et est surtout connu pour avoir écrit Les Carnets de Turner (The Turner Diaries) qui a inspiré le terroriste d'extrême droite Timothy McVeigh.

Dans la version abrégée de Qui contrôle l'Amérique?, la source du professeur Galtung, certains passages ont été expurgés comme celui qui prétend que l'Holocaust n'a jamais existé et des appels à combattre le pouvoir juif par tous les moyens. Mais le texte est clairement antisémite.
